Tournament Format:

Four person scramble. Each member of the foursome must tee off on every hole. Second shots will be taken from the best lie from the first shots and so on. Scramble format continues until the hole is completed including putting.

Handicaps are not required. Teams are comprised of men and women players of all skill levels.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams will receive team awards at the evening presentation immediately following the tournament.

Top Sponsors will also receive recognition gifts at the evening presentation immediately following the tournament.

Doug and Wolf from Sports 620 KTAROur Special Guest Emcees for the evening are Doug and Wolf from Sports 620 KTAR.

Ron Wolfley, a veteran of the NFL, brings to Sports 620 KTAR a unique story-telling capability. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and special teams standout with the Arizona Cardinals.

His career launched in 1985 with the then St. Louis Cardinals. He played seven seasons for the Cardinals, including three seasons after the club’s move to Phoenix in 1988, before joining the Cleveland Browns and finishing his career with the St. Louis Rams.

During his 10-year career with the NFL, Wolfley received many honorable mentions, including NFL Alumni Player of the Year (Special Teams) 1987, Member of the All-Madden Team 1989, Winner of the Ed Block Courage Award (St. Louis Rams) in 1995, and was named a team captain eight years in a row.

He was the head football coach at Phoenix College and for the past five seasons served as the Rattlers’ radio color analyst. He is currently a color analyst for the Arizona Cardinals and now morning talk show host on Sports 620-AM KTAR for The Doug and Wolf Show.

Wolfley is originally from Buffalo, New York, and played at West Virginia University. He and his wife Stephanie have four children: Ashley (23), Connor (21), Jenna (16) and Cade (14). His personal interests include writing, reading and sketching.

Doug Franz is the co-host of The Doug and Wolf Show from 5 – 9 a.m. weekdays on Sports 620-AM KTAR. He joins the station with more than 15 years of experience in the broadcasting industry.

Most recently, Franz was a morning talk show personality on 610-AM Sports KCSP in Kansas City. Before that, Franz spent five years in Huntsville, Ala., where he helped start the sports / talk radio station, WUMP.

Franz is looking forward to learning more about the athletes on the various Arizona sports teams and becoming a fan of both the players and the team. He is currently a Redskins, Mets and Lakers fan and knows it will only be a matter of time before the Suns are added to his list.

Franz earned a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters, Vienna, 7, and McKenna, 2. His personal interests include attending baseball games, playing softball or soccer, watching the Star Wars film and spending Friday game nights at home with his girls.
